We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team. This is an important position for Push Gaming and will involve assisting our Finance team in managing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting of the business.
Location:Ta' Xbiex, Malta (onsite).
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Accounts Payable function – management of vendors and AP across multiple entities, including:
- Processing supplier invoices
- Complying with the company purchase order policy
- Liaising with management for invoice approvals
- Managing supplier payments in line with company policy
- Dealing with supplier queries Payments and reconciliations - Accounts Receivable function, including:
- Managing accounts from the debtors ledger
- Issuing statements of accounts
- Dealing with customers queries
- Reporting to the Finance Director on customer aging Preparation of bank reconciliation, identify discrepancies, and investigate discrepancies - Preparation of month end reconciliations and reporting
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns
- Processing employee expenses
- Assisting with the financial month-end and year-end processes
- Assisting in the preparation of the actuals vs budget analysis
- Assisting with the year-end audit and related queries
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of appropriate systems and internal controls
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Other ongoing ad-hoc projects and tasks as they arise Assisting with the Financial Audit
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Partly or fully qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Ability to present financial information in a clear and structured format
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Self-motivated and self-driven, and a self-starter looking to add real value to the role
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English essential
Nice to have:
- Experience in NetSuite and Xero accounting software, and Microsoft Excel
- Membership of the Malta Institute of Accountants
- Interest or experience in iGaming industry
