Senior FP&A Analyst

As we continue to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for a FP&A Analyst to join our team in Malta.
Location: Ta' Xbiex, Malta.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support the company's strategic initiatives. Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to understand potential financial outcomes.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure accurate and feasible budgets. Monitor and report on variances from the budget, providing actionable insights to management.
- Analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to identify trends, forecast future performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with strategic projects, providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making. This may include market analysis, cost analysis, and the evaluation of potential business opportunities.
- Act as a finance partner to various business units, providing financial expertise and support in operational decision-making.
- Lead and manage automation projects aimed at enhancing financial reporting and analysis efficiency, enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Other ongoing ad-hoc projects and tasks as they arise.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Significant experience (we think around 5+ years) in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of advancing financial models and conducting complex financial analysis. In addition, ideally have experience in the iGaming industry.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modelling). Experience with enterprise-level financial planning software.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification such as CFA or CPA is preferred.
